Preparation is the key to flawless tanning. To achieve this you will need to exfoliate and moisturise your skin for the week leading up to your tan.
The night before you must shave any areas that may need it (as shaving afterwards can fade the tan).
On the day of your tanning sessions, DO NOT apply moisturiser to the body area as this will create a barrier between your skin and the tan.
IF YOU ARE HAVING AN EXPRESS TAN DO NOT SHOWER IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO YOUR TAN.*
Bring loose dark clothing to change into after the application of your tan.
Depending on the level of tan desired leave on for the appropriate time.
Wash skin as normal with shower gel.
Moisturise to extend the life of your tan. DO NOT use oils as this will break down your colour faster.

* All tans develop by the DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) reacting with the amino acids in the proteins on the skin. Showering immediately before your tan minimises these proteins and can result in poor colour development.
